FORECON, Inc. provides a variety of appraisal and other related services to meet the many needs of our clients. From the valuation of a single shade tree to the appraisal of a timberland investment containing several hundred thousand acres, we are well positioned to accommodate client needs in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
We have the capability of completing each stage or phase of a timber or timberland appraisal in-house. FORECON staff can design the specifications and layout of the field inventory to be done, at which point our staff of foresters and forest technicians can quickly and efficiently collect the necessary field data required. We would then compile and report the timber and other related data, collect supporting information, analyze the data, form conclusions of value, then prepare the report to meet client specifications.
We have three certified general real estate appraisers on our staff who specialize in timberland valuation, and we follow the highest appraisal standards as set forth by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Reports vary from short form restricted use appraisals to self-contained (narrative) complete appraisals. We can meet with bankers, trust officers, attorneys, accountants, and boards of directors on your behalf to review the results of an appraisal, or to generally discuss financial strategies that might best suit your needs. We also maintain close professional relationships with first-class professional consulting forestry firms across the country, giving us the ability to provide you with professional consulting services on a nation-wide basis.
Whether for investment due diligence needs, collateral valuation requirements, estate settlement purposes, general planning and budgeting purposes, or estimating the market value of your property for prospective sale purposes, FORECON, Inc. can provide you with the professional appraisal services you need and expect.
