The Oak Hill, West Virginia Office of FORECON, Inc. has an immediate opening for a highly- motivated, full-time Forest Technician.


Principal Duties Include:

  • Timber inventories

  • Timber marking

  • Assist in timber sale administration duties (harvest layout, inspections, etc.)

  • Boundary marking

  • Property inspections

  • Other duties pertaining to our current land management accounts, as well as industrial and private clients

Principal Requirements include:

  • An Associate in Science or Associate in Applied Science degree in Forest Technology or Natural Resources or 2+ years of practical field forestry field experience is required

  • Individuals with a BS degree in Forest Science, Forest Management or Natural Resources

    are also encouraged to apply.

  • Must be competent in forest mensuration techniques including point, plot and 100% tally inventory

  • Basic knowledge of office software (Word & Excel).

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal
