Joining the FORECON Team!

We’re pleased to share that Christen Beasley joined FORECON in June, supporting our Oak Hill, WV office’s operations. In her role, Christen helps manage our institutional clients’ timberlands in that region, including inventory, timber sale preparation and adherence to our clients’ environmental certification standards.

Christen brings a diverse array of work experience, volunteer service and academic achievement. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Georgia and a Master’s in Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation from the Virginia Polytechnic and State University, which allowed her to submit and publish her thesis on oak silviculture in scientific journals.

She’s held positions in forestry, research and teaching in Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia, and has graciously served her community over the years as a mentor and volunteer for Wears Valley Ranch Children’s Home, Prince Avenue Middle School, the Society of American Foresters and others.  Christen distinguished herself during her academic career, earning Summa Cum Laude honors at the University of Georgia and both grants and fellowships during her graduate work at Virginia Tech. In her free time, Christen enjoys trail-running – both competitively and for leisure.

We’re thankful Christen has joined our team. She brings a wealth of professional experience to help drive results for her coworkers and for our clients. Please join us in welcoming Christen to the FORECON family!
